07denali Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 I'm running a RF T1500bdcp at 1 ohm to an AA Havoc 12. I used either 12 or 16 gauge speaker wire which is what came with the RF amp kit. Is that speaker wire sufficient or should I upgrade it to 8 gauge? I've been seeing a lot of builds with 8 gauge speaker wire so it had me thinking. CleanSierra Posted July 31, 2012 Report Posted July 31, 2012 If it's 12 gauge Fosgate wire, you're probably good. I don't know of a kit they make that has 12 gauge in it though. Thats just my opinion. I tend to go for overkill myself.
