I wouldn't run anything else ... cut your cables to the length you need and take them back to the welders and get them to install connectors for you ... They may not know what you plan to do with the cables, but they are masters at installing connectors ...

apply some shrink tubing, and your golden !!

i use nothing but !!! 100% pure coper actual wire size you ask for and SUPER strong sheithing that can withstand 105C all i will ever use !!

i'd use it for multiple runs from a battery bank to amps, but be careful under the engine. most likely not able to withstand the heat in certain spots. sure it CAN work...but like i said, just be careful with it

thats what welding cable is for !! it withstands heat ... welding cable is good for +105C ... i use a mapp as tourch to solder lugs onto welding cable and you cant even touch the wire when done but the jacket doesnt even melt !!

this for sure. Not sure why some people think it will melt faster that car audio brands.

i used welding cable...

i had a 6" section left.. i used a torch on it for a good minute to see if i could melt it.. no dice.. tried getting it hot and rubbing the jacket off... no dice

i ran it next to my headers on truck.. about 3/4" away and have no issues
