ALPINE408 Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 also if you dont fully seal off the trunk your wasting your time saying its not perfect means you wasted your time the more you push back the box the better in most cases if you good with wood you can seal it off with panels as well Quote Have you ever had your woofers blown?

Robert8252 Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 I've sealed my trunk completely off with around 4--5 cans of foam everytime around the box and have done this with three different boxes in the same car. kingsuv Posted August 11, 2012 Report Posted August 11, 2012 What I have found when sealing off the trunk is the cabin peak skyrocket. If you don't have the extra airspace of that trunk anymore, You will need to adjust your box tuning. Or find a class where you can bang with windows down.
