CJ18 Posted November 12, 2012 Author Report Posted November 12, 2012 Well I have been telling yall everything that has happened with this build so far, good, bad, or ugly. So why stop now. First with the Bad and Ugly. One of the subs is making a god awful noise, I am going to have to take everything back out from infront of the wall so I can pull the loading wall and pull that sub to get it cut out and send the basket and CF cone to Rusty to be checked out and a recone to be built. Now for the good- I have decided to ditch the triple alt setup and drop back to duals and am going to be kicking the 14v out and going back to all 12v like I should have done from the start. I just ordered a Mechman 340a unit for my stock location, I will be running this along with one of my Singer 400s. I will be getting 6 of the new XS d7500s as soon as they are released for sale to go along with the 2 d3100s and 1 6500 already in the truck. I think that should be a sufficient electrical to keep everything happy.

I am sure along the way I will find something that I need to fix and will do it better and it will all be worth it. I might take this as a chance to try and fix the LEDs in the front plexi.

pa-pa-platypus Posted November 12, 2012 Report Posted November 12, 2012 if its one of the inverted ones check the dustcap.. when you pull it we build a small 4th order an xl a few months back and it start making a HORRIBLE noise.. sounded blown to shit..turns out it was just a loose dustcap lol This isn't teeball.
