Playerlarry09 Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 ok this may be stupid i dont know but before i do it i would like to know is a self tapping screw safe to use on a terminal ground? on a amp, battery anything needing grounded. im looking for a sold way to ground but drilling holes is hard to do being able to get to it from below my truck (things in the way) thanks for any help

soundstream15 Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 use self tapping screws with star lock washers, they do not come loose at all, i made my ground under my rear seat by the seat belt bolt. if you just use a washer they will come loose

will77530 Posted August 28, 2012 Report Posted August 28, 2012 dude i would seriously just find a way to use a bolt it may be a pain in the ass. but is the best way....thats how i do all the ground on my installs, you dont want to have issues later on ust do it right the first time
