Chris Hammer Posted September 7, 2012 Report Share Posted September 7, 2012 So its not so much that the offbrand or other brand digital meters are off on their readings(saying 13 when 14 volts etc..);but that they slow down the display and sample rate to make the display readable.Becasue if they sampled at real time it would be changing at a rate too fast for our eyes/brain to process? But since the smd meter has a display or readout that lights up at the votage you can actually visualize peaks and low points. SMD in for the win again. This makes since and you guys address a problem thats never really been given much thought. Count me in to buy one.
