All factors aside, I'm trying to choose between a sundown 2500,3000,or 3500...but I'm really leaning towards the 3500 for the power. It has diminishing returns the higher you get up, and the curve is very quick the higher you get. ChevyBoy95 Posted September 18, 2012 Report Posted September 18, 2012 depends on the set up. a 500rms sub on 1k will be more substantially different than a 3k rms sub on 3500rms. in reality, on a sub/subs that need say 3k, the 2.5, 3.0, and 3.5k will all sound relatively close, but the comparison of 2500 to 3500 would probably be audible.
