Car audio research paper

Recommended Posts

It's been a while since I have been on the forums, but I need some help. I am a senior in high school this year and in order to graduate everyone is required to do senior quest. Senior quest is a 8-12 page research paper, 8-12 minute speech, 8-12 minute presentation and a project on a possible career we might choose. Me being a car audio enthusiast every since I got my first car made me choose car audio as my topic. My project is a complete system rebuild in my car which is almost complete. I will post a build log once I get everything else over with. My problem is finding five sources about all the different aspects of car audio from competitions down to the basics. My only two sources that I have been able to find have just about all the information I need, but I still have to have three more and they cannot be just forum posts. The paper has to be in MLA format which means everything has to be cited. So far I have found bcae1.com and caraudiobook.com. Any help or suggestions to other sites would be greatly appreciated.

You can use people. I mean what I would do, ask the gurus (may take awhile to get a response as they're busy as all hell) for their credentials such as where they went to school (if they did), how long they've been in the business, etc. Then ask them for the information you need for the paper.

Like if you need 3 more... ask meade, ray, jon. Between those 3, you should DEFINITELY get more than enough information for a paper. Not forum posts but since everyone is helping everyone out, perhaps they would actually do phone convos or something. Could be denied as they say hell no, but you never know until you ask. Just throwing my 2 cents in.

thats actually really funny to me because i have to do a "senior project" this year to, and im going to be building a whole system with fibre glass work, new door panels and everything, along with getting mecp certified

i know of a few books that might be good,

the MECP study guide is actually the most informational book ive read

along with car stereo for dummies

and car stereo speaker projects.

those three are some good books, very helpful stuff in them

remember there are other jobs in the audio field. no need to limit yourself to a car.

i was going to send you to bcae1.com but you have that already.

If I answered you in a well mannered, informative way, you asked a good question or had a good attitude. If I was an asshole, you asked a stupid question or you had a fucktard attitude... or I was in a bad mood.

Thanks, everyone I will post the paper once I finish it and see if anyone sees any thing that would help me out. I found out today that I can do interviews so I may be asking ed a few questions.
