TylerParrish Posted September 20, 2012 Report Posted September 20, 2012 I'm running all my wires right now and i dont wanna drill through my firewall, luckily there's a grommit for the factory wires to go through in my firewall, looks like this: but i dont wanna just run it through there and have it all open like that, so can i just run my wires through, spray on some expanding foam to seal it up, and call it a day? Never used expanding foam, dk how it'd last under the hood. I uzed a small razor did a little x than used a coat hanger and taped the wire to it. Ran the wire through the rubber but since I cut the X so small is a really tight fit. Dries up clear and the wire won't budge This is probably what I'm going to have to do since I can't fit 2 runs of 1/0 and a run of 4 gauge through it, not with the factory wires running through it atleast, and since it's the only grommit in the firewall, can't run it anywhere else.
