whats the difference in amps?

Yeah, it'll do rated power at probably 3% thd, under 1% is clean power, so if you were to dd-1 that thing, you probably won't be getting the watts it states, and Audiopipe amps from what I heard, and know aren't very efficient either, so it'll be tougher on your electrical as well, so possibly needing a 2nd battery, which is more money on your part.

I'd rather get the AQ 750 myself over those Audiopipes if you can find a good deal with in your budget, especially when AQ from what I heard, is very efficient, and better build quality because the amp is made in Korea( just like Skar, DC, Crescendo, etc), not China.

If you're worried about output, you could always make you box on the bigger side as well.

The news one yes, and you can probably find an AQ 750 for $150.

Though, you'll have to probably counter in manufacturing process for quality as well, location isn't everything.

also have to add in claims for all of the companies about made in the usa but still using overseas parts for them... if you can find a aq750 for 150 then go for it. depending on what subs your running tho you can find last years model prime 500-1 and get over 500w of clean power at 2 ohms for under 140

There's nothing wrong with going with Fosgate and I'm sure there are a small handful of other amps that do CLEAN RATED POWER, for under $150 used, but your going to have to do some looking. The only reason I recommended AQ, is bc it will do rated power, but it will also be clean power. Plus they have good resale and AQ has great customer service and rep. The Fosgate is a great amp, but for the same price used the AQ will put out more power. OP, it's up to you but I wouldn't recommend Audiopipe.

Your better off going with Hifonics than Audiopipe; which is complete shit IMO. I've seen more AP amps sent in for repair, than I care to count. Try looking for a used Audioque 750. and I guarantee it will put out a lot cleaner power than a shit ass Audiopipe and does more than rated. I found one used on CACO for 150 shipped, so do some looking and you'll find one I'm sure.

You ever used one?

Too much talk, not enough personal use.

This is coming from someone who beat the shit out of an old AP-15001D (silver case), 1ohm on a fi q 12, 55a alt, tiny single battery, sent into low 11's for voltage, daily, at least 2hrs a day. Still was in great condition when I opened the case months later.
