So I think its time for a lil update damn haven't updated this in a month..

Lets start with that I finally got my 1/0 SHCA lugs in so I could solder them on the wires and polish the shit outta them

Next thing was running all the wires through the hole. that was a b*tch!

also I had to take them out later on because I needed to make some changes FFUUUU..

Next thing I started on was painting some parts. I used my paint gun that I hadn't really used before this so its my first time painting like this.

first taped off the plexi(I know should have used a paper lol)

as I showed a couple posts above I already primed 3 other wood pieces but I did them a while back and had to do it outside back then.

this time I made a lil cabin inside the garage where I could paint in

Next up was putting the black gloss paint on all the pieces.

I did 3 layers and wetsanded too grit 1200.

I know there are a few spots in there but for a first time doing this I'm really happy with the result.

Looking good bud. If I may suggest. You're going through all the work to polish all this, please make sure you center the lugs under the bolts. Sorry if that seems a bit much, but that one above, just stands out to me. Just a thought. Looks nice though.

Thanks scott!

no fuck you you may not suggest that LOL.

I had it there just to see how it would look with all polished parts on there took the pic and took it of again.

in the most bottom pic they are all centered or atleast look centered.

maybe 1 or 2 that need a lil adjustment

alright so a lil update again.

At this moment I'm waiting on some last things to come in for the amp rack so currently I can't work on it since I need those last thing to get everything in place and then I can start painting everything and get everything in place.

Like some of you know I got a set of AA carbon mids and a set of Nendo RTS-1 tweeters.

So I decided I would start on the enclosures for those while I wait.

First of I cut out the base piece

Then I made some speaker rings

Set them up and stretched fabric, Had to do it in 2 pieces cause I wasn't able to get all the seams out.

Those pods look great. Can't wait to see them finished

Thanks alaskanzx5 I might just do that
I can recone a sub myself. About a year ago I took 2 12" power acoustic mofos and made one sub. I took the magnet and the motor off of one and j b welded it to the other motor and magnet. I had to wind my own voice coil so it would work. After I was done hooked up to 2 boss 5000w amps. And shattered my back and all my side windows

came to this thread to recommend soundqubed and ct sounds. OP goes with soundstream.

oh lawd.
