Fords freaking suck!!!

Recommended Posts

I've owned chevy, ford, honda, and hyundai.

had a 79 granada, first car, crashed the shit out of it 3 times and still ran. Couldn't open the passenger door

had an 81 escort, died at about 195k

had a 86 mercury marqui sold it running great with 180k

had a 96 mercury marqui sold it with 190k+ ran fine but burned a bit of oil

had a 06 kia rio, timing belt broke, ran fine but was just an chea econo box with lots of little issues.

Had an 89 astro van with 250k, it was plagued with problems but it ran

had a 81 f-150 with 260k ran like a champ but had issues too

had a 86 f-150 with i don;t know how many miles. Rusty as hell but whatever

had a hyundia accel with 180k no compression but still did its job

had a 91 escort with 300k, it ended up with a colapsed lifter and went another 20k on 3 cylinders

had a 96 windstar, used oil spun a bearing. Ended up with a pretty nasty knock

have a 87 accord with 190k, Has a host of issue but was owned by a teenager so go figure

have a 99 mercury mystique wit 260k, right now had a bad idle air control vavle but still gets from point a - b

point is, every manufacture has issues, heck i saw a realitivly new dodge pickup once (maybe two years old) passenger door hinges had broke.

Some ford pickups had fire issues in the exhaust when they started adding those exhaust-fuel burners

Chevy had asploding pickups in the 70's

the list goes on.

So when i see someone say f band x i just laugh.

strapping 2 amps together ? like bolting them next together? using bungy cables to hold them down? or wiring separate amps to each sub

Are you using OEM hinges? The originals was cast aluminum and ford recalled them. New OE are solid steel. Only had that problem once. No more issues and my hatch flexes well over an inch.

They are the hinges from the ford stealership. I don't know where else to get them at.. and everytime I have a problem with them, its the screw that goes threw the glass that snaps off in the hinge..

But the thing is, there is people who have never had a system in their explorer, who have this same problem. It just sucks..

You have kids? Im surprised the latches on my escape haven't broke yet from them trying to push it more open then it should go.

what year is your escape? One on my wife's snapped when we hit a bump in the road during the winter 2 years ago. She had no system.

Aah, it just keeps you busy & off the streets. What else would you do :unknw:

It's what they call character. Every brand has it. Some brands a bit more than others though :D
