Escalade EXT (4)Rockford T2 12's (UPDATE 12/3/12: Complete! Video & Pics up)

I'm pretty sure the fix for the electrical was simply putting the oem alternator back in its original spot and adding the HO alt to a dual bracket ran separately. You guys put it on the meter yet?

my favorite part is the way that dash mount works...besides the clarion head unit i think its cool how that kit has a huge pocket in it...convenience makes me happy! lol

Lol yeah. That is actually the second kit we've used. We originally planned to go with an EQ, and we mounted one up inside the pocket. But every time you'd turn the volume down, it would jolt the system. We actually smelled coils burning and thought we blew a sub when this happened. Nevertheless, we decided to not use the EQ.

Yessir, that's exactly what we did. The mechman alt running solo in the factory position severely limited it's output due to the vehicle's computer regulating it. The factory alt actually worked better solo than the mechman. We haven't gotten a chance to meter it yet no. I'm hoping we can collaborate with the shop in the next town over. They've got a TL and would be more than willing to help. I'm guessing as it sits right now, 146-147db. It doesn't move as much air due to the sealed box, but if you check out the SQ video I've got coming up, you'll see why we went with a sealed box. Smooth, transient, tight bass, at concert volume.

Yeah that was one of the first things I said check cause I researched it before I built my system. I was going to tell you before that you could have bypassed the computer to make sure it was the alternator but you would have got a charge light. Im glad it turned out the way you guys wanted. Now get us some more videos :)

It all comes together now, the sealed box, all that power. This truck is resemblent of being front row at an ampitheatre. Our client's taste in music is pretty eclectic, as you can see. If anything this will be what he listens to more so than new school rap. Be sure to watch the video in 1080p!
