He just came out with a new zip and has some good songs in there I would like but I'm not gonna dl them if there really clipped. My gains are set with dd-1 but is His music safe?
littlebuck1919 Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 idk, depends on how accurate Audacity is....ive looked through several songs from him and Decaf....they both clip....im not 100% on highs or lows....but they both have had quite a bit in the songs i've looked at through audacity. not bashing either one but they both clip.... memphisBred Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 Your first mistake was using Audacity to search for clipping. Audacity is virtually useless in that aspect. Use WMP and see if Decafs music is clipping. He's said numerous times that a handful of his edits have clipping in the highs that should have no ill effect on our systems. littlebuck1919 Posted November 19, 2012 Report Posted November 19, 2012 lol well, im still getting into it and changing up a few songs for myself, still earning, i just read in here a few times that quite a few people use Audacity, and i hit the Show CLipping thing and some songs have lots of red and some dont, so i assumed it was clipping since it only shows red (assuming theres clipping) when its checked to show clipping.
