They grip super tight too I don't see a benefit to super tight RCA's unless there is extreme bass or rattling or the amps move a lot. I have never used anything other than Walmart stuff. I have never had RCA induced noise. When I had a bad ground in my other jeep I got whine from the stock alt as well as poor sq 150.1 @ 38hz142.3 @ 20hz (windows down)Only 2 batteries

But i do have a pretty bad ground for the mids n highs amp. Would it be worth running a line back to the battery? Any way to test the grounding of parts in the car with a dmm? I ordered the xcorpion quad shilelded rca's from sonics ebay and will post back with results. That work 100% if I ever needed em. But for the $$$ I use knu conceptz. The middle pair like $8 are nice. The cheapest one like 5 bucks is a steal for the leg.th you get, but I have pulled an RCA straight out of the plastic molding before.. you get what you pay for TO A POINT with RCAs. Where it become more about asthetics and less about function imo. I'll never pay like 60 bucks for some RCAs lmao f that. I have been sick so i couldnt re-route any wires or anything. ground every amp alt and battery to the frame it will give you a greater decrease in resistance then a ground ran from front to back. it cant hurt to do that but the cost to do that compared to grounding everything to the frame rather then buy a whole wire is a better starting point. unless you have an old car/truck that is all rusted out. look at the ce electronics section on this forum they have some great info on grounding. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
