You can always use the 3rd card for PhysX

IF your talking about having a 3rd GFx card, last I remember, PhysX, is processing power, not GPU since it deals with strictly calculations. ANd it still already has been stated that 3 690's in SLI can not be done. Also, SLI and Crossfire is almost pointless in most applications because you dont even gain a 40% increase perfomance from one chip, to two.

you can dedicate a card to just PhysX.....but is it worth another $1000 just for that? nahhh. I think i will just do 2 and be good to go.

PhysX is Nvidia software thats used in things like borderlands and a few other games to strictly do physics calculations for world interactions. The card does not have to be in SLI to designate it in the driver as a PhysX proccessing card. I use a 460 as a dedicated physics card in my machine along with a 470 GTX.

And now you know, that's pretty fucking intense man. I think with 2 690's running in SLI, you still wouldn't notice much of a difference throwing another card dedicated to PhysX then, two of those is so damn powerful, I don't think you will ever dip under 60FPS lol

thats all i have so far, being Sunday and also the GTX 690's are impossible to find locally.

I will update this thread when i buy more shit and of course during the build. Of course i will show you guys what a true gaming PC will look like when done LOL.

Also, i got this....i don't need 20 people telling me what to get, or what i should get. I know what i am doing, even if you do too. Thanks!

That's a little arrogant.

I'm gonna hate

That's kind of how this place is now. Someone shows what they got, then people say, oh you should have gotten this or trade it for that. :/

I just ignore those people, if everyone did, they would stop. Self-governance is wonderful but I suppose online where there is no identity such a suggestion is heresy.

Excellent component choice anyhow my last big PC build had an original XPower in it, loved that board.

I'm gonna hate

Yeah you just ignore those people... but imagine you have 10 times the amount of people telling you what you should do like steve would have. Can see how it could get annoying. Easier to just cut it out from the start. Not arrogance.

i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah..

You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people.

I was gifted with an innate ability to distribute wholesale ass beatings in a timely and orderly fashion.
