ChevyBoy95
you can always put a nice 6.5 back there with an adapter, and just put a switch to turn them off, or a small 2 channel with a switch on its remote that only goes to the 2 rears. Bump4life
i think rear fill makes it sound better. i turn the gain down and make it so it just makes the sound full. the majority is stilll coming from the front!! BEEMDUB
if you are going to start leaning toward a super clean SQ setup and you are serious about it, then probably would be best to remove it. If you are a little more carefree about it, it can still sound good and be loud with them in there. It just won't have very good imaging thats all. There are ways to keep the rear fill in an SQ setup but you have to be pretty serious about what you are doing. For gods sake though, try to keep as much of it coming from the front as possible because nothing sounds worse to me then hearing a system and all the sound is coming from behind my head and nothing up front Yea I just realized recently that I don't really care for my rear fill, and the way I threw my front stage together was kind of rushed I wanna just start new and get a bad ass comp set and some good xovers, make sure my doors are sealed up good and get my mids and highs soundin where I want em. All the tweeters in my car are on these old mb quart xovers that were supposed to be "temporary" lol i think rear fill makes it sound better. i turn the gain down and make it so it just makes the sound full. the majority is stilll coming from the front!! Yea a week ago before I got rear ended one day I forgot to hook back up my rears and I thought to myself driving down the road when I noticed it that it actually sounded a little better to me. BEEMDUB
I was thinking I might grab a set of comps while sonic is still having their black Friday sales what would you pick between the RE xxx'sor the RF T2652? The only thing I'm worried about is if I can fit the xxx's in my door, I have an 07 dodge charger. *EDIT* Ignore my versus question lol put it this way CAN I fit the xxx's in my doors?
