pa-pa-platypus Posted November 30, 2012 Report Posted November 30, 2012 singer probably provided the best customer service i have ever had when dealing with a company (period not just car audio) i had a problem with my alt and we spent a good amount of time trying to diagnose it through chatting on facebook, yep not slow e-mails where i would have to wait several hours (or days) for a response eventually i had to send the alt in to be worked on.... problem fixed and sent back to me...been working like a champ for 4 months now... a guy who stands behind his product like that and cares about them getting their equipment installed and working as much as he does will always get my seal of approval This isn't teeball. He has great c/s though If I had to rank, I'd put DC power first, simply because they can machine their own housings for better cooling, but this will be the priciest and I have heard of long lead times. Followed by Mechman - solid performer, people rarely have issues with them. Awesome idle output. Singer was the cheapest quote I got and I haven't had a single problem with it. I love my alt man. Ran my SINGER for half a year... damn thing kept me over 13.9 ALL DAY,.. at idle....pounding it into clip at times... loved it,.. and will go back.... with that,.. i was just trying to say, that, you do get what you pay for in this hobby....
