1989 Bronco 2 ****update! 1 Of 2 High/mids In******

Recommended Posts

5. I have the round over bit but i used like the 3/4" roundover one i think cause i couldnt find my 1/3" roundover.

im not gonna sit here and diss you....i mean if u ask me i say tear it all apart and start again and this time get vacuum the Cheeto's and Frito's off the floor before taking pics :D

It really does need a re-do my brotha.....sorry

Also, not trying to call you out but are u SURE you used a router and roundover bit? if you used a 3/4" vs. a 1/3 (never heard of a 1/3rd bit) it would just be more round and still look good...it really looks like u made the cut out with your teeth bro lol....

again not dissin, its nothing personal.....it really does need a re-do. If you clean that box up with some carpet or a REAL roundover bit and paint, that will be easy. Mount the deck in the dash where it belongs and re-do the amp rack....piece of cake man!

either that or be like me and be a better photographer.....even if there is flaws you gotta find a good angle :D Cant hide that deck cut-out though bro :D

i just want to add something.....bro if you come on here and say this is your system and its the best you know how to do thats COOL.....we all have different skill levels. But its almost insulting to tell everyone you used a router on that hole.....its almost impossible to do that with a roundover bit unless the bearing is missing and even then it will destroy the wood not make it look like that...

what im sayin is you dont have to lie to kick it, if your deck is duct-taped to the dash i dont give a damn but dont make stuff up as your going...

just my 2 cents....

Indeed^^^.

I think Steve and I are roughly seeing the same...

If you used a roundover bit WITH A BEARING, that deck cutout would be nice and clean...

The kind you prolly used was the roundover with no bearing to "ride inside" the cutout and thus it's ALL OVER the place...looks like a drunk guy did it.

Carpet would hide all the dirty parts so thats not a big deal, as long as you get to it...but to POST IT w/out the cleaned up stuff...and then ask "What no one cares? No one wants to say great job?" is kinda silly. The most "sugar coating" you'll get round here is folks keepin it to themselves.

Most folks here are here to help-not just hate for the sake of hating so take the critiques (esp what Steve said^^) as motivation to improve.

I don't know what you mean by "not having enough wood to make an amp rack smaller"....smaller=needs less wood.

The condition of the "whip" is understandable if you just got it and paid little for it... I was kinda bustin ur balls for callin it a "whip" in it's current condition to begin with.

I would also try to secure the box & rack somehow so it's not sliding around in the back.

Awh guys come on. Do it how ya do it man. If you radio plays and your speakers bump then hey, your doing ok. BUT>>>AND I MEAN BUT...PLEASE!!! Figure out a way to put a guard on that table saw before some fingers or a hand come flying off. I seen a table saw cut a dudes finger straight off. It hit a girl in wood working class upside the head. Wasn't pretty...Ya'll go easy on my man. And like Steve said. No need to fake the funk man.

zax... i think were being cool...no one is thrashing the guy.

if it wasnt for the "what no one has anything to say" and the "i used a 1/3rd roundover bit cuz i lost my 3/4" i might have kept my mouth shut.....

im pretty sure there is no such thing as a 1/3rd bit LOL. IF there is im not aware of it......isnt that almost like saying there is 1/3rd on a tape measure? You can look all you want but its just not there :D

Oh ya, by all means get a guard or at LEAST lower that blade down a little......that is a straight Sui-Saw if ive ever seen one LOL :D
