babyjoker
they are overrated, however owning one myself i cant complain, expect anywhere from 1300-1600 rms at one ohm Quote 1999 Eclipse N/T 12'' Fi BTL Gp3000d PM D3100
Neel
the bxi2006d is a great budget amp (which is why alot of people run them). Although your not going to see rated power from it, it will do a great job powering that pioneer sub, i used to have the older version of it a while back. Ive installed a a bxi2006d in a friends navigator that treats his stuff like total crap and it is still working fine after all this time. What smells like its constantly burning, the amp or the sub? i wouldnt be surprised if your amp is going into some serious clipping and causing your sub to overheat. So set your gains properly, start with a DMM. Quote Too Much Stuff to list .

dmanson
i have the older hifonics 1500ds and hell i love them. i'm only playing each of mine at 2 ohm toward my RF T2 12s and hell they bang hard as hell. i've heard the newer hifonics amps do more near rated output versus the older ones.
