I may be wrong but I think I heard that anything over 12 ft and you start losing quality with hdmi cables

You don't really lose quality just the signal gets weaker. Up to around 20/30 feet and you'll be fine, after that you'll need to use repeaters.

There won't be any real obvious flaws just sort of sparkles on screen.

I got one I can sell you from my work for 89.95....Monster cable gold connection, pretty much the best quality cable out there, you don't wanna cheap out on an hdmi cable there the same for the most part but better quality really does make a difference

fuck yeah. thanks. looks like i'll be buying the 33ft one here shortly. hopefully there isnt any signal deterioration with the small gauge and long length. if there is, ill just return it and get the more expensive kind on monoprice.
