IH8PunkRok
Driving home tonight my hids decided they wanted to be strobe lights. When this happened I had three warning lights flash and ding and all my gauges would die as if the car were off. The engine ran fine, no issues there Ddm tuning 55w hids 2005 dodge magnum has relay harness Anyone ever heard of such a thing? -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build
LukeYoung
I've never had this issue. But it sounds like a bigger issue then just your hids if your gauges start dancing also. Check your ballets grounds. Check in car fuse panel and make sure their all tight. Check your alts power harness, ummmmm check your the relay panel under your hood also. 1998 Subaru Forester S DC 7.5K And DC 175.4 270XP DC Alternator One XS 5100R Three XS Power XP3000 All XS Power Wire Two SMD 18's I ONLY POUND BLOCKS AND PUSSY
reg93f150
Happens to a lot of people I know, simple thing we did to fix it was install a relay and its fixed. Had to do it on my moms jeep, friends f250, friends Cummins. I honestly just think it might be a relay to fix the problem. It wouldent hurt to check everything plugged in good and what not ALL CREDIT TO XX1 FOR DC BANNER down rpping vanderbilt. 30 miles from victoria. i own the 3rd loudest setup here out of 3. but i did put together all 3 setups strapping 2 amps together ? like bolting them next together? using bungy cables to hold them down? or wiring separate amps to each sub

wellington
Are they the cheap HID's? Sounds more like an electrical problem though. Did any of the gauges die before the HID's? DubNDodge
What ever the issue, that isn't good at all. Constant igniting (turning on and off) will ruin the lifespan of the bulbs. I don't even use my remote unlock anymore just because of that. IH8PunkRok
OK I'm going to try and answer all questions I have a relay so that isn't the issue My DRL have never been on They aren't cheap. Ddm is highly recommended It isn't a voltage issue as I had nothing running when it happened Now all that being said I removed the hids and a similar but new issue has arrived. The gauges will die and sometimes kill the engine. I feel I have a much bigger issue at hand -Matt2005 Dodge Magnum RTJVC KD-AVX1 2 PPI S580.2 Obsidian Audio ST1 Horn Tweeters PRV 8MB450s Audio Legion 3500.1D 2 RE MT 18s 360 ah LiFePO4 BatterySHCA 2/0 155.2 @ 29 hzKicker CVR 15's buildDD 3512e buildMini T-Line Build(6) 8s BuildNightshade 15s Wall BuildMagnum AB XFL 12s BuildNewest Magnum Build
