Where is the craziest place you have found your keys after you lost them

I was at a buddy's house about a year ago and lost my keys. We searched for every bit of 2 hours around the whole house. I couldn't find them and gave up. I ended up having my dad drive an hour to bring my a spare set of keys since he is the only person that had a spare. As I was about to leave, I ran back inside his house to grab my sunglasses and saw a bulge in the pillow on his couch. Somehow my keys ended up inside the pillow case.

I have a co-worker that is forever losing his keys. (I think part of the problem is that he has multiple sets) Well, he lost his backup set one day and didn't find them for over 2 months. He finally went and got a new set (cost bank at the dealership- smart key and all). I went to his storage unit one day to help him with some work and while kicking rocks in the parking lot I saw a tiny bit of shiny. I picked it up and said "huh! Look- someone lost their key." He says "let me see! ...well I'll be damned..." -yep. His key.

One time I spent the night in a motel that had actual keys for the room doors -not the card keys. I looked everywhere the next morning for the freaking door key. Couldn't find it. So- as I am leaving the room, Bam- there it was in the door. I was really tired. Thank goodness Adam wasn't at that Motel that night. lol

My keys are on a setchy lanyard on my neck and i always put them back on... period....Last week I was in a hurry but I had to go to the bathroom, but people were waiting on me to help me work on my car, so I did my thing as I checked SMD on my iPad like usual.... Made some ice tea... Made sure I had all my things to do what I was about to do,.... Then spent

20 minutes looking for my keys...... Finally my gf says...

There in the bathroom idiot, right where you left them... Sure enough they were in the sink.

 Worst one so far, my 2-way remote, key to my truck, and gym card was left on the back of my dad's bumper. Haven't seen it since!

Did this one. Motorcycle key, took the lock smith 3 hours to make one that fit the ignition, gas tank, and tail compartment. Another time was at the drug store. Left them on the counter at checkout, waled out and couldnt find them. Went back inside werent there check the bike, pockets, bookbag, helmet, everywhere. Some A-hole comes walking out with them ready to get in his car when I see them in his hand, he tells me he found them on the ground and was gonna keep the alpinestar keychain and chunk the keys. I get my key back he gets called a couple obscene names I ride out

Every time I stand up or sit down, or just randomly walking I'll check my pockets.. Wallet, keys, phone and knife. It's a bit obsessive but hey, I've never lost or misplaced them

I'm guilty of leaving my phone on a table top clean for 5 minutes. Check the whole house only to find it in the spot I haven't checked lol

the sealed section of a fourth order .. have a little flashlight on my key ring i use.. was in there working and needed light for a sec... had to pull the sub again lol luckily i thought of looking there before too much searching

My friend lost/found his in a river. Him and another buddy went cabrewing and were pretty smashed. They ended up flipping the canoe 10 yards from the landing. Well I was at work the next day and then both of them came down with a metal detector wrapped in trash bags. Most redneck thing I've seen, but I'll give them credit, they found them in about 2 hours.
