Kyblack76
Bi-amping isn't active, Kyle, still a passive crossover. Set crossover point. The Hertz 165XL set can take that 125.4 active all day Mario. The mids will laugh at 125 watts, and the tweets will be right in the sweet spot. Cross them at 3k. 2800 if the amps crossover allows. As for the Focal set, Im not sure if they can handle the power active, but most certainly if use only two channels and run passive. Ken,.. im asking John wtf he is saying..... trust me,.. i know what im thinking,.. DO NOT GET WHAT he is saying...... Read his post, and then youll see what im saying.. Edit- what i meant, by my post, was a nice way of saying "dude, what the fuck?, please explain"........ i wasnt asking what active is,.. ive ran THREE WAY active...... i understand, I wanted him to tell me how using the comp set passive cross over can be used as active. Guess i was to nice, and will have to be more straight forward from here out... I have the sundown components already that i will be running on the back doors. Ken I am not getting the 165XL just the 165 version. The 165XLs are to big for my doors and the price is way to high. All i have is 500 right know but can go 600 max.
