Got the Crescendo PWX 6.5's on the way as well. Ordered as part of my SOTM winnings from SHCA. The doors will be playing full force once I get them in.

Tomorrow first thing I'm doing is rewiring the speaker wires and laying the wire out so I can just drop in the speakers when they come in.

You can typically just drill through the plastic thing Thales. My car doesn't have that, it's just simply hard as fuck to get to and the rubber tube in between the door is the thinnest piece of shit in the world. Screw that. There's no pinching going on. It' nice n safe. Just ugly.

Newish/new car problems, I know the struggle lol this build has me excited more than when Adam......nevermind bout that, in for the Obsidian and Nendo awesomeness

Yea those door grommets are a pain in the ass. I just took off my kick panels and door panels, cut the end of a coat hanger into a sharp point, and guided it through that grommet from the kick panel side. Once it got through to the door panel side, I had to break it through the rubber to make room for the 4 runs of speaker wire. Pain in the ass, but it keeps it clean. Tore the fuck out of my arms in the process too, had to fanagle them between the door and the window track to grab hold of the hanger.

Shitton of progress today. Got all the pieces cut and screwed each 2x4 brace into all the side panels. Mocked it up in the car. Basically spent my entire day kreg-jigging the hell out of this thing. Tomorrow I'll start gluing the pieces together.

Have to take my center console out and front seats as well. And possibly one of the front doors to fit the baffle in. funfun.

Will upload pics tonight after classes. oh and disconnecting a wire from around the airbag detector sure can make your butthole clench up.

Okay. I'm home. So here's a few pics.

Got the base laid down.

Wall mocked up outside of the car. Idk, was just checking to see how nicely all the edges met.

This picture is just the box lightly screwed together. Tomorrow I will be finally sliding the baffle on and putting the front seats back in to make sure it all fits nicely.
Then going to take it apart and put it all together again for real.

As for the baffle, it's a heavy bitch (to me) lol. Notice there's no lip for it to sit on while it gets secured. So I'm gonna have to screw some short 2x4's or whatever under the base panel so the baffle has something to sit on while it gets secured onto the box. Can't hold it up and screw at the same time
