Of course he got to hear the Lexus and i got the seal of approval.....which is EPIC from someone like him. Once that happened, i wasn't worried what anyone else would think (about the SQ in the Lexus). Anyone here know who this guy is? If you don't, please take your system out of your car, give it to the goodwill, and take up knitting. Or educate yourself. Just sayin' - Now enough mearchandising, start to tear down the roof in the hotel . wasn't merchandising at all....i brought out one of each SMD product just in case i was going to show someone. I didn't have time to eat a cookie the entire week (during show hours) but when i met Gary, i HAD to break them all out. Then i gave them to him. He got a DD-1 HV, a CC-1 and the SG. Very few people in the world got it like that with me but this man is top 3 audio hero's in my lifetime anyway, there isn't much video of my Lexus doing demo's. There is nothing exciting about an SQ demo. No hairtricks, no broken windshields, no roof flex, no ceiling crumble. Just SQ. But i did get video of doing demo's in a couple other rides while i was in Vegas. My first Car Audio & electronics mag I got was when I was 12 y/o in '88! had a feature article on Gary and his Regal. Had a 45 lb horn tweeter tucked under the front dash and 12"s in the rear quarter panels. Truly inspirational to my young mind about hiding system components and making it work!!
