Installing deadener questions

Just had a few quick questions about installing deadener. I'll post up a couple pics first and then ask you at the end of this post

So there's my door and the door panel for the back doors. I was wondering about where to install the deadener. I'm pretty sure I have to take off the plastic sheet and get as much deadener on any metal I can find, right? And if so, then when I'm done with that I need to put the plastic sheet back on on top of the deadener itself?

I've got paint thinner to clean off the metal when installing the deadener and I also picked up a nice little roller to help me out. If I'm missing anything could somebody let me know? Or if I'm doing it right can I just get a confirmation before I go and use up all my deadener doing it wrong? Thanks for reading, any input is much appreciated :)

Have a look in the Second Skin section. You can achieve good result´s if you cover 25 % of the door with deadner. Plz look in the section or search in

You-tube for sound deadening, there are a vew vid´s about.

Alright thanks, I tried doing a forum search and couldn't find anything about the plastic sheet which I'm guessing is for weather protection or something? That was my main question because I don't know what I'm supposed to re-attach it with or if I even really need it

If you choose to keep it you could just buy something thats is in the link to re-attach it. Apply the deadener to more flat surfaces as the more contour surfaces wont vibrate as much. Also applying how much is up to you as long as you achieve at least 25%
