i got a decent deal for it on ebay so i wasnt being picky. i wanted to get a d2 but they sold out the day before i got the cash back in october. and i cant handle the comp 10s anymore

I didn't know you already purchased the amp.

Just make sure to set your gains properly with something like the DD-1 or an O-Scope, and you should be good.

the reason i want this amp is because ive always heard soundstream ( i have their picasso speakers and like them alot ) was pretty good and at 2 ohms its supposed to put out 1300 rms which would be plenty for the sub and i can get a decent price for it

Here is a suggestion for the box (easy to build version):

Enclosure Specifications:

Fb = 32 Hz
Vb = 5.8 ft^3

External Height = 20 in
External Width = 36 in
External Depth = 21 in

Port Width = 3 5/8 in

Cut Sheet List:

* All Dimensions in Inches.
* Wood Thickness is 3/4 for all Parts.

External Enclosure Parts:

2 x Top & Bottom (3 parts) = 36 x 21

Left & Right Sides =
Side 1 = 19 1/2 x 17 3/4
Side 2 = 20 1/4 x 17 3/4

Front = 31 5/8 x 17 3/4

Back = 36 x 17 3/4

L Port Internal Assembly Parts:

Front to Back = 15 7/8 x 17 3/4

Assembly guide (generic dimensions):

Important notes:

- The port needs 3 5/8" of free airspace in front of it for proper operation.

- Setting your amp subsonic filter to 28Hz is suggested.

On the amp, any good quality 1k amp will do.
