Ported 0.5-0.75 ft^3 @ 35hz = Recommended box size Displacement 0.08 ft^3 = How much air the sub takes up Depth 6 5/8" = Overall depth of the sub (how far into the box it goes) Outside Diameter 8 3/8" = Overall width of the sub through the widest point Cut-Out 7 3/8" = How big the hole needs to be Or at least explain this to a noob. Tarball Posted January 17, 2013 Report Posted January 17, 2013 Looks to be an 8 inch subwoofer that has a rcommended enclosur eof .5-.75 cubic feet with a tuning of 35hz. It is 6 5/8" measured from the magnet to the part of the frame that mounts to the box. The subwoofer itself displaces .08 cubic feet of space, so you want ot increase your enclosure size by this much for traditional mounting (non-inverted). The hole that you cut should be a circle that has a diameter of 7 3/8" . Pretty stragiht forward.
