What wire to get?

Which wire is better quality? Knu 1/0 or audio technix 1/0? It will be for the battery to the back then to amps

Between the Knu and AT, it's pretty much a coin toss.

We have 50' spools of 1/0 XS power cable for $119 shipped, just in case you want to go that route.

Though depends if you want regular 1/0 or oversized 1/0(which is techincally 2/0), then Knu Kolossus since they make an ofc version of it while AT hasn't made one yet, but for regular 1/0, Audio-Technix.

Both are still quality companies though

Both are great. Audio Technix is my preference since it's cheaper. I use Radaflex 1/0 since it's the cheapest I could find while being OFC and true 1/0. But the AT and Knu wire is more like 2/0 so that's why it's pricier.

I wanted to add that comparing 14ga wire from Knu to other brands, the price of the 14g speaker wire is like $8 more and I don't know how good other brands are. I do know that Knu wire is very nice. I have decided to just go with Knu wire. I already bought 100ft of 1/0 from them and it's super nice stuff. Although i would have liked to have it on a spool bit just tossed in a fed-ex box. But if it saves me on shipping costs then I can't complain.

Knu has a higher strand count, but the strands for both are 36 gauge, so the Knu would be more substantial. Maybe not enough to know a difference beyond measurements, but it has more copper in it. That being said, it's also more pricey.

They really need to set a standard on car audio wire as CCA is not nearly as capable of carrying the same amp quantity as OFC is, and people get confused by the 1/0 gauge they use to measure both with. They need to add an amp rating to the wire so people aren't confused about what it is capable of running through it.
