REVOofRustler
So my truck's carpet is wet in some spots due to some small holes in the floor. Would Damplifier be an effective way to seal that off, considering it will be exposed to small amounts of moisture? tacomaguy1
no foam....if it's small holes just cover in the damplifier, will seal it Quote Team Flex Issues

Second Skin Rep Jon
I've used it to seal up small holes too. If somehow it gets over saturated, moisture could build up underneath the Damplifier and it may begin to rust... again this is a possibility, not likely though. Pioneerchuck
If its a small hole its worth it to patch the hole now before you are replacing panels due to rust. Just cut out a patch panel and weld it in place and go over it with some POR15
03 Xtreme Fosgate
If you don't have access or skills to do the welding you could just get some good high heat silicone to fill in the holes and place the damplifier over it.. Lowes and HD have some 3M stuff called 5200 I think,I've used it on some cracks on the back of my truck cab and it won't go anywhere and heat won't effect it but it's like $16 for 1 tube. It's used to patch holes on boat hulls Quote BUILD LOG-http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/179004-03-s10-xtreme-ext-cab-rf-build/ PHOTOBUCKET- http://s1354.beta.photobucket.com/user/03XtremeFosgate/library/truck%20audio%20rebuild
REVOofRustler
What do you guys think about using fiberglass? I took welding in high school, but I'd be worried to screw my truck up more than it is now... Pioneerchuck
Ehh it'll work but I wouldn't recommend it. It's hard to get fiberglass to adhere properly to metal.
