I say go with some SA's if you got clean signal but I'll just look like a biased nuthugger telling you that. If you can get some Open Box SA's from CarstereoGiant they'll be $160 a piece That's what I did. A+ condition too. Gosh there's so many options and no one around here has anything other than jl, RE and kicker and one place has DD but doesn't have any hooked up to hear so needless to say I'm buying in the dark... And the SAs sound so tempting at the price and everyone saying stuff about them taking 2.5k+, however will you even hear a difference at that much power vs like 1500 watts? And distortion? Have been looking at the FIs on their website and they look pretty nice, but I know looks don't mean anything. Is there a big difference b/t the Q and SSD? Sorry for all the questions/-:

kaydennicholson Posted February 3, 2013 Author Report Posted February 3, 2013 Thank you everyone for the input, have been looking heavily into the FI SSDs and may very well go with them, however may be just a tad short on space when it comes to squeezing the box into the trunk of my Malibu/-: only can provide up to about 1.6-1.7 when specs call for 1.8-2.5 cubes per sub. Will this not work? :-/ as far as sound well I mean?

CleanSierra Posted February 3, 2013 Report Posted February 3, 2013 Skar Audio's ZVX 12s, 1500wrms. They get nasty low, no doubt they'd take the 2400. Flako's running a pair of VVX12s on 2 1700s without any issues. They work because he's not running the full 1700 to each sub. I believe he's running them at a 2 ohm load each. Plus I designed and built the box to be able to have cone control and handle tons of power. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
