I have some updates that I did a few months ago but never put up the pics. I made a carpeted cover and sub grille to protect/ conceal everything.

I also added some Solen 20 uF caps to my tweeters and mounted them in a hollow spot I had to slightly modify behind my a-pillar panels.

Here is a pic of my tweeter pods I used to mount my HAT Imagine tweeters in. I used some Pyramid tweeter pods I had used in a previous setup, and only required a very small modification to make the HAT tweeters fit in them.

man that looks really clean but i would suggest finding a way to cover up that waffle grill to match the rest. IMO those waffle grills are just ugly as heck and you have such a beautiful sundown under there. You're more creative than that!!

I actually just made that panel with some left over material I had, hence why it does not go all the way into the edges by the hatch opening. But the primary purpose of this panel was not to be pretty, but rather to protect what is underneath, so when I throw bags and gear in the back I don't have to worry about anything. It's secondary function is to hide what is back there so you can't see anything for those prying eyes through the windows. I do have some other plans for the entire back end but I won't be able to do any serious work on it until around March or April. I do agree with you on the ugly waffle grill. This is just a simple fix of function before fashion.

I was doing some tuning and a little bit of maintenance yesterday and I took a few pics which are better quality than some I have added to my build log before.....

I did a few visual upgrades, well rather maintenance, since this was already done. I have LED's in my vents and door handles. I installed these LED's like 8 years ago, maybe more, I lost track. Onto the the pics...

Prepped the LED's by soldering the resistors 1st:

Ready to be soldered into the harness:

Soldered and shrink wrapped:

Kind of a bad pic, but you get the idea:

The doors had a few of the white LED's out so I did those too:

you definitely did a great job on this install. You don't need 50,000 watts to impress me. You just need to do a clean, well thought out install. That you did. Good luck on System of the Month my bro. :)

Man, this looks really really good. Nicely installed, clean, well done.

Comment on that amp and inductor, or whatever it's called. I wonder if the amp lid wasn't rubbing on it while it vibrated. If so that would cause some issues I'd imagine. Have you ever done anything with it, meaning dealt with it, or is it still the same way? Maybe replacing it might not be a bad idea. Just a thought.

Looks great! Good luck on SOTM!
