Swordlordboy1234
Buy a cheap daily driverThe plan is to buy a nice daily driver after graduation and make this my audio machine. I've already got the bad ass alternator, and all OFC dedicated positive and negative. All I gotta do is add some weight support, foam the sun roof and wall her off. I'm about 80% sure she is gonna turn into an audio toy after I get a new car. I don't think selling her would be worth it, I wouldn't get my money out of it. Edit: and the nice daily driver will then hold all the rules that this one holds, SQL, pratical, loud, seats 4, trunk space.... And the accord will become the "I wanna mess around with something" car My old YouTube channel : http://www.youtube.com/user/SwordLords1234?feature=mhee My old build log : http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/161872-96-accord-b2-sundown-sky-high-dc-power-re-re-build-for-heatwave/page-37 My New Build - http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/207041-2016-mazda-6-sql-build/ 2016 Mazda 6 Touring JL Fix 86 - OEM signal correction B2 prototype DSP 6to8 B2 Ref63 - 3 way active set 2 B2 Class H quattro's 1 B2 Zero.5R @.5 2 B2 HNv3 12 d2 B2 SLIP40 - Lithium in the trunk Northstar Group 35 under the hood 100ft 2/0 welding cable 30ft 4ga welding cable 20ft 8ga welding cable All stinger OFC speaker wire Soundrive custom RCA's Tons of attention to detail.... And the accord will become the "I wanna mess around with something" car accord is mess around with something, the new daily is "I wanna mess around in something" Point being, my daily driver will always be as nice as possible and follow all the rules I've given myself listed above. not saying I can't break a 150 from a trunk following those rules in a car. It will just take too much money and the accord prob won't get that kinda treatment. But when I get a nice new daily driver I can attempt a 150 out of the trunk again and redo some things that I've learned from the accord to make my next install that much nicer, and the accord will become the... "Let's see how loud it has to be to break that off" car. My daily won't have a spare (because spare wouldn't fit anyways), but will be loud AF and still be able to seat people in the rear along with having trunk space! You can do it!!! Bigger box FTW!!! lol Lol jk jk, your setup is nice bro, don't listen to people trying to tell you how to spend your $$$. But when I break down and AAA only will tow me 100miles because I can't get my spare (or don't have one) I wanna know who off this forum is gonna drive me out a new tire/rim roadside. JS. When you drive as much as I do... And you need the trunk space, and you need the safety of knowing you can fix almost anything on the side of the road. There is something to be said for that. I carry a cig lighter air pump, a tire plug kit, I can reach my spare, a 1/4 and 3/4 inch full metric and standard socket set. A full metric and standard wrench set. A full electricians set. All my audio tools for anything I might need for my system. Spare cable, spare fuses (both audio and car) spare hardware, spare fluids (oil, trans, power steering, water), a battery charger, a jimmy set (for opening locked doors) and a extension cord. About the only thing I don't have is jumper cables. And I can fit all of that in my trunk so I can fold up my rear seats and have all my tools safe to leave my car in a parking lot. That's what I carry in my car at ALL times. And people want me to lose my trunk and back seat. Lol. omg_spoon
Getting towed to a local tire shop isn't even a big deal. Its still odd you have all that stuff but no cables. I used to be super paranoid too but after you get towed a few times it aint a big deal. 98 Mustang GTSinger 3202 12" Incriminator Death Penalties1 SAZ-2500dv22 D3100,1 D34002 Crescendo CZ-65SAX-100.2Door panels by Diablo Kustomz
Wood
I'm not gonna lie, all I keep are cables! and I may not drive from texas to florida every year, but I do know this, I bought my car a year and a half ago with 32k and now I'm at 83k. I doubt you're driving like that! but at least you're prepared for the worst! 2011 Nissan Altima aka Red Ruby HEADUNIT: Pioneer AVH X2700BS ELECTRICAL: -Singer 230a -Northstar gr34 -(2) Northstar SMS220 w/ Custom Terminals from 12V Metalworkz -100% Welding Cable FRONT STAGE:-(2 Sets) Hertz HSK165 -Hertz HSK130 -Ampere Audio 125.4 SUB STAGE: -(3) Sundown Audio SA REV2 12's -Ampere Audio 3800.1 V2 MISC (NON AUDIO RELATED): -Interior & Exterior Lights LED -Gloss Black Roof (PAINTED) -15% Front, 5% Rear Tint -Roof Spoiler -20" TSW Snettertons (20x8.5 front, 20x10 rear) -Custom Projector Retrofit (FX-R 3.0, 6.5k HID, Morimoto Mini H1 (faux projector), Quad Starry Night Halos) ----- COMING SOON!! -Aftermarket Fog Lights -Custom Painted Engine Covers My Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/169869-woods-2011-altima-aka-red-ruby-new-video-more-updates/page-109 Retrofit Build Log: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/185787-hid-projector-retrofitting-diy-by-wood/#entry2765346
