DubNDodge
Sounds and Suds 931 Springmill, Mansfield, Ohio (419) 961-8287 Event Date: May 24, 2014 Event Details: Sounds & Suds brings you an IASCA IdBL & Bass Boxing 2x points event!!Reg: begins at 10am - 3pm Competition starts at NoonEntry fees $35 for 1 or BOTH formats Food , drink and FUN on site!! I'll be going to both of those for sure! I like the way your box pretty much looks walled in the trunk its clean, Im trying to do the same thing with my Toyota but my opening between the trunk and backseats is to small for my box. I seen the part of your build where you did each side of the box did you have to modify your trunk opening between the back seats to get it like that? I looked through your build and only seen where you did the sides. Also im thinking of doing a 45 deg amp rack right behind my box, as I seen you mounted your amps on top of the box. Your setup is real clean man. You got my vote BTW! Thanks man!! and I barely had to modify/cut any metal in the trunk. I'll find the page I posted it on though for ya edit: it is on page 2 about 1/4 of the way down the page. You'll see where I marked in permanent marker, then I have the cuts a few pics down after. DubNDodge
Well I got a new toy in yesterday, and got to play with it today So this is a 0db 80-25hz Sweep 33/35 volume 1.5krpm Windows up on dash (dB Drag style) [flat 34hz-64hz] I then played some tones on either side of it, 43hz was still the loudest. I am up .4dB from my old subs. Even though old peak was at 48hz. Oh well. For shiggles and gits, I rolled windows down and sweeped the exact same as first test. You can see I am much more flat, but the peak moved up 3hz [flat 25-67hz] note:I started turning volume down at about 27hz the track also fades out. I had a headache towards the end. I'll do my port plug windows up, windows down as well on the dash on another day. DubNDodge
The highest was at 43hz being 141.3db. 26-29hz it was reading 140.9-141.1. Not real sure why it chooses a certain freq even if the graph shows it isn't the highest. The red is supposed to be the peak, along with the number shown. You can look in some of the other tests and see the "red" or peak was not the actual peak. Like port plug in windows up test. edit: and it's not like I was saying that 26-29 is my peak. Just happy that the port plug is doing it's job. That was a sweep with 0dB. I'm tuned with -5dB. I was already tipping 11.9v once I reached the end of the sweep lol. I was getting a little square no doubt, voltage showed along with hint of sub smell. generally lowest I'll see on most music is 13.0v driving.
