Colin - STAPUFT
Trim piece looks Great. Excellent work as ever. Trunk is going to be crazy clean with the lid popped. Ideas on the finish yet? Gonna paint the trim to match? qu1cks1lver56
really intrigued about the resin, and looking good again bro. Sure is fun working with your kids isn't it? I love hanging with my boys in the garage.the resin is NO JOKE! Put it this way, tomorrow, when i clock in, i will take the piece of cardboard i placed over my cup, off the cup, and go right back to work. As long as that cup (and brush) don't get hit with sunlight, they will stay wet forever. The second my project hits the sun, it locks up. This shit is amazing.I will be selling it by the Quart, Gallon, and 5 gallon soon. It is a little more expensive then your standard high quality resin, but it is worth it as far as no waste, no wasted cups, no wasted brushes, very little prep, no catalyst.....matter of fact, pour it in the cup and go right to work lol....no mixing, nothing just go to town. The 1qt. cans of it will be easy to ship with no special hazmat requirments so they will be cheap. I will hook people up with free samples so you can see just how awesome it is. Put it this way, i have a brand new 5 gallon drum of regular resin and i haven't used it at all. I did the entire Lexus with the new "Sunflash" and i don't ever want to go back to the other stuff again The pictures you see above is little and no effort compared to the old way. I didn't even break a sweat. Usually, you are working so fast because it's about to cure any minute, you are sweating bullets. I do. DID i should say. you can get a UV light as well for times when there is no sun but you need to work anyway. Or use the SunFlash on nice sunny days and the other crap on cloudy days. Within 2 weeks i will have it ready for sale. back on topic. Wow. I'm super excited to see this hit the market. Will definitely motivate me to try more fiberglassing projects, since the last one I did SUCKED. lol. That trim piece looks awesome, the trunk of this car is going to be CLEAN Quote First Gen Xterra: Always changing DNX 690HD RF 360.3RF T3002RF T4004RF T10001bdSilver Flute 6.5"s Tang Band 1" TweetersSundown X18 in 7cubes net tuned to 32hz Trust me .25 Blows your Load. mothra
Can someone show an example of a good uv light to use for curingjust wait for me to release the product - i will have all the info you need here is a teaser of the label we are working on for the can's. trust me on this, look at all the fiberglass i just did. I used ONE BRUSH and ONE CUP and they are still good right now. Gotta piece of cardboard over the cup so the skylight in my shop doesn't slowly make it gel up. Also, i will have sun activated body filler and kitty hair too! Stay tuned. gotta give you some serious credit on actually making products to change the car audio industry. i'm slowing considering going back in to the car audio world for a career again. I got out in the early part of the 2000s as an installer and sales person. I became a vendor rep in Home Depot and now I'm getting the itch to get back in to car audio b/c of the things I see going on and products that you're coming out with. meade916
My favorite body filler. I have been waiting since 2006, when this car was stolen and destroyed, to make the trunk look good again. This trim piece is what i have been waiting for to feel good about the car again. That ugly foam and original speaker box was bringing me down. Have to admit, the original box makes a nice foundation for the rest of the new build Some people pull out their wallet and POOF the job gets done. I pull out tools, materials and sand paper. Did i mention i hate sanding? The trim panel will be wrapped in this, to match the MOMO seats. The door panels will be as well. Should look real clean! I hope!
