CommonSyns
Just a quick question can the 1500.1 output more than 1680 @ 1 ohm? I think somewhere I read that the 1680 @ 1 ohm is at 13.8 volts or something. I'm going to run 2 of the 1500's on a stock electrical with the "The Big 3" and 2 extra batteries in the rear. Subs are two 15" ZVX's, The amps are going to be run at 1 ohm. I should be fine right? Rmichael91
Are you running the 1500s separate or strapped? I don't recall a birth sheet in my amp box, but too I only have the 85.4 right now. Either way I think you'll be fine. They run well on the 1200D. Let alone a 2500 at .5 ohm lol
CommonSyns
I actually haven't decided yet. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/163003-dual-sub-amp-wiring/ Skar Audio SDR 10" x2 (Sealed Box) Skar Audio 1500.1D (1 Ohm) x1 Skar Audio TX525c (Front with dash tweeter) x1 Kenwood Excelon KFC-X173 (Rear Coax) x1 JL Audio 360.4 (Mids & Highs Amp) x1 DEH80-PRS XS Power d3400 Singer Alternator 275A 98 Jeep TJ 4.0 5 Speed
kirill007
should since theyre a high end company like rockford edit i might be wrong Skar is no where near Rockford, a lot closer to rockwood amplifiers then they are to rockford amps. EDIT: to Big-A, I am exaggerating, but you shouldn't compare a amp like that to skar, especially not if you include customer service and reliability. CommonSyns
Can I still fuse this amp with a 250A fuse? I am using CCA 1/0 and I am getting a 250A alternator. Or should I go lower in fuse size? Emmet
depends on the amp youll know how much itll put out when you get the birthsheet Birth sheets are also pretty pointless. Most are done with a solid power supply and non reactive load. i shook this one kids hand and it just folded in mine. long story short i fucked his girlfriendso.. yeah.. You want this to happen to you? Give decent handshakes people. I was gifted with an innate ability to distribute wholesale ass beatings in a timely and orderly fashion.
