New component speakers ideas

I got a 09 dodge ram and I'm looking to upgrade the speakers to some components. Looking to spend around 200 per set. I was looking at getting either the rockford fosgate t1 or t2s. I won't be putting them on a amp for awhile. Any suggestions??

If I were you and I had a $400 budget on component speakers I'd get this

And definitely an amp I would prefer an amp per set so ur running 180rms at 4 ohms

Since ur budget won't allow getting two amps you could go on Craig'slist and find an old alpine amplifier, such as v12 expert amps

Scion tC SQ Build
iPad mini, lots of fabrication, daily driven
Ford Explorer C Pillar Wall Build

Just a cheap car to destroy with bass :D

Those are a 6 3/4" driver, so it may or may not fit.

I would look at these Focals with your budget, and leaves you a bit of cash for a 4channel

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_7755_Focal-165-A1.html

and a 4channel to power them

http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_24110_MB-Quart-ONX4.80.html

total for 2 comp sets and 4channel would be $409....https://www.sonicelectronix.com/cart.php

If your going to spend $400 on 2 sets i would add a little more and do one really good set and get an equally good amplifier to power them with and you won't have to upgrade to anything better for years to come. Hertz HSK, Audison AV K6 are just two of the endless options to choose from out there that would fit in your budget and sound awesome.

I am biased towards the elettromedia brand of components.

you will probably be more than disappointed wtih anything if you dont amp it to be honest. Id do one really good set up front and if you are worried about rear fill for passengers do a coaxial set. rear fill is booo.

Get a really good set of components for front stage so you never have to upgrade. (I like your RF choice, but there are other great brands out there) Plan your system out & figure out after thurough research what your wanting. Try to never go cheap on your equipment cause you'll just end up upgrading in the near future. Remember it all starts with a good signal from the HU. Good amps and then good speakers for a great sounding system. Nothing wrong with buying stuff slowly, we all have to do that at some point. Just a get a good plan together for what you want and head that way.
