I have a new body silverado and im doing a cut through next week. Problem is that I can decide to do 2 or 4 12's. I beleive the woofers i want to use need about 1.75 to 2.25 vent each so i would be on the border of specs.

I do NOT want to use the whole bed and I have take the measurements and should have around 8 cube before woofers and vent.

Do you guys think that would be enough air sapce for 4 or should I shrink it a bit and make it a box for 2?

Make round cuts to your cab and bed ... Not 90 degree cuts

The Accordion boot will fit and work much better with rounded cuts in your corners .... Also, it would be nice if you can have a full bed cover to protect your investment ....

strapping 2 amps together ? like bolting them next together? using bungy cables to hold them down? or wiring separate amps to each sub

I know ... My blow thru has 4 10s Isoberic, but my goals were different.

If I was looking for goals like yours, I would go with no less than 4 12s ... Just saying

i just dont want to be short on air space and miss that deep drop trying to tune around 33-34 hrtz and get into the upper 20's with the hertz swing.

i listen to all types of music but love that deep drop that shakes everything. lol

Yea if your going as far as cutting a hole in your truck cab for bass then I wouldn't do anything less than 4 12's. DO IT right the first time so you don't waste time/money doing it a second time.

Edit- "DO IT" not donut lolol

4-12"s
Rock the 4th order, skimp a little on the sealed side for the woofers but try to maintain a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio.. Should get dirty..
