WillPwn4Food Posted March 15, 2013 Report Posted March 15, 2013 Oh I know. I've got used to it. I live in a small town (City?) in North Dakota. Nobody here has Lambo doors. I figured what the hell. Why not. Most people tell me it's pretty dumb, but at the same time pretty sweet. I've had a few people ask if I'd install them on their car.... I'm like... Uh. No. Never again will I do it. Too much time/maintenance. Wall build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/174827-walled-taurus-with-lambo-doors/#entry2571893 real men dont use fuses Neither do moronsSays the guy with lambo doors on his Ford Taurus.

95legwagon Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 lol @ this thread ( mainly eric) for one: you were NOT correct... secondly if you have been doing installs for 15 years and i came to you asking for an install (which i wouldnt do regardless of who you are) i would immediatly think you were retarded and wouldnt let you touch even my enemy's car due to the fail that has come outta your mouth. if you run a shop, you are "that guy" that makes all car audio shops look like shit because they think they know everything and that everything they do is correct. everyone fucks up and admiting your wrong with the way you were thinkn is the first way to start learning things the correct way. do you compete? i bet not... alot of guys here compete and have been competing for years in not just spl but sq too..... but then again you knew that too huh? LOL i would guess this would be the kinda install i would find with 2 diff. subs in a prefab box hooked up to a 2k rms amp on 8 gauge (no fuses) from this eric guy. your going to get bashed from everyone here, shit i bet meade would bash you for this know it all attitude. someone needs to give this guy a vacation lol /rant i think there real i was looking through that guys stuff he sells and it looks like he finds stuff at auctions and just sells it Yea, it looks like someone got the mids about a month ago....shit. TeamHT Posted March 17, 2013 Report Posted March 17, 2013 looks like everyone here agrees with me that bigger subs have more cone area with less woofers. gee what a concept noobs Can you even read?!? You obviously have no comprehension. Maybe it's because of your self entitled belief you're some beast of installing from the old era, but you are seriously misguided and wrong. You have no idea why people even said you were wrong to begin with...and it had nothing to do cone area. It had to do with your idiotic statement about smaller subs not hitting lower frequencies. Just stop. Read. Then read some more. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
Eric Foreman Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Was bored and figured this was fitting looks like everyone here agrees with me that bigger subs have more cone area with less woofers. gee what a concept noobsmaybe you asswipes cant read but let me go over what i said in the vary beginning.....ppl use bigger subs for more cone area with less woofers, and more smaller subs will have better sq beacause they can play a little higher fq than the bigger ones...bunch of dumb ass wipes ....i swear ...and to the 8 awg comment ,dickhead i use that as speaker wire Can you even read?!? You obviously have no comprehension. Maybe it's because of your self entitled belief you're some beast of installing from the old era, but you are seriously misguided and wrong. You have no idea why people even said you were wrong to begin with...and it had nothing to do cone area. It had to do with your idiotic statement about smaller subs not hitting lower frequencies. TeamHT Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 Just stop. Read. Then read some more. And when your brain tells you you're smart and you want to share some of that infinite wisdom? Don't. Just read some more. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
TeamHT Posted March 18, 2013 Report Posted March 18, 2013 imo they run the bigger cones beacause of the lower frq they produce ,also you get more cone area with less speakers. if you want to build a daily with good sq then i would do more of the smaller woofers as you get a better frq range Just to reiterate your thoughts. Smart people don't run bigger subs because of the lower frequencies they produce. Your first statement is pretty much your tell you have no idea what you're talking about. You can't even properly measure the cone area of a sub, which means you have no idea when what comparison has more or less cone area. If someone was trying to build a sq car, they wouldn't be using multiple woofers anyways. The whole point of sq is a well balanced sound stage which does not require that much cone area for the sub stage. And smaller subs do NOT have a wider range of frequencies than larger subs. Just. Stop. Tell me...does this smell like chloroform to you?
