iROCKtheFOSgate Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 go big or go home Not the best advice to give a new person to the hobby... well the guy already wants 2 t2s from rockford and talking about amp kits extra battery and whats so ever.... whats wrong with going with what i said ??? its not like hes trying to go all out like steave or have 10 18s like price ... if he wants to start out with some bad ass shit then let him ... it was just my suggestion ... if i was willing to spend 4-800 on some subs im not gonna cheap out and buy some cheap shit to power them or have some cheap build with high end subs ... obviously he know some what about what he is talking about to come up with some t2 subs ... most new ppl that comes into car audio just want some bass looking for some big subs and an amp that will make it move.... for myself im not gonna lie that is what i did after i got more deeper into it and done more research i know whats what ............. I don't know why I took your post like that. I guess I was just thinking about how complicated it could get to be. But know that I think about it he is already on the forums so any problems he has could be easily explained and most people here will gladly help him. It makes perfect sense to get the good stuff at the beginning so that you don't have to worry about selling lower end equipment after you are rest to move up. yup ill be posting vids and pics on my build soon also waiting for all my orders to come in ... its hard to have all these goodies in my room waiting to put it all in at once...ill be making some how to video and all that good stuff and yea he came to the right place for help and yes get the good stuff the first time [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:2273]
throttle98 Posted March 21, 2013 Report Posted March 21, 2013 somebody said you need around a 6 cubic foot box for those specific 2 15's. Thats pretty big. You should make sure you can fit the box BEFORE you order the subs. Every different sub requires different size boxes. You should first see how big a box you can fit/ and or want. Than decide on the woofers. Are you looking for quality or just loud and hitting lows. If your not going to be parked with the car off blasting music I would recomend getting a high output alternator before the battery. You guys got me thinking about selling my "cheap" hifonics brutus 2400's. Good luck with the project.

MarvinC123 Posted March 22, 2013 Author Report Posted March 22, 2013 im going to be putting them in an 04-09 mazda 3 hatch, so hopefully it will be enough room to build a big enough box.
CleanSierra Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 No, it won't be enough room for 2 15" subs in a proper ported box. Another member on here has 2 15" Kickers and struggles to fit them sealed with the subs inverted even. He's tried to design the funniest of designs to make it work, and he has been unsuccessful. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
iROCKtheFOSgate Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 some mazda hatch is pretty big depending on what car you get ... MIGHT be possible [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:2273]
iROCKtheFOSgate Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 haha like you mind as well turn it into a wall [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:2273]
iROCKtheFOSgate Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 like the whole hatch will be a wall [sharedmedia=garage:vehicles:2273]
big dee Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 What kind of vehicle are these T2 15s going.into? What's the reason for choosing the Fosgate subs? Have you purchased them yet? How much are you to spend on subs? Have you ever had a system before?lol
CleanSierra Posted March 22, 2013 Report Posted March 22, 2013 It's Dereileak(can't remember spelling right now) I believe he's a member on here. He's running Kicker everything basically. His subs are inverted and above window line. Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.
