Im looking to get 2 Rockford Fosgate T2 15s and I need to know exactly what all I will need to get to make the system hit its hardest. I know i'll need the amp, wiring kit, box, etc. Will I need to get a capacitor or possibly another battery? btw, I plan on using a 3000-3200 watt hifonics amp to begin with, would that work? if so what type, I've seen mono, 2 channel, and 4 channel. I'm obviously new to the audio world and im just trying to get some help. thanks

What kind of vehicle are these T2 15s going.into? What's the reason for choosing the Fosgate subs? Have you purchased them yet? How much are you to spend on subs? Have you ever had a system before?

Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

if you want it to hit its hardest start buy upgrading battery do the big 3 , ported box built to about 6.85 cubic feet tuned to your personal references id tune it to about 32-34 hz ...i also would go with rockford fosgate rfk1 1/0 amp wiring kit and have them both running off a rockford fosgate t2500bdcp

If you haven't already bought the subs are you sure that you want to start out with 15's and not some nice 12's on something like a T-1200.1.

Krakin, are you some sort of mad scientist?

I would have replied earlier, but I was measuring the output of my amp with a yardstick . . .

What you hear is not the air pressure variation in itself

but what has drawn your attention

in the two streams of superimposed air pressure variations at your eardrums

An acoustic event has dimensions of Time, Tone, Loudness and Space

Everyone learns to render the 3-dimensional localization of sound based on the individual shape of their ears,

thus no formula can achieve a definite effect for every listener.

what's your budget?? If you're looking at RF T series then I don't know why you would cheap out on an amp like that. I'm running all fogate amps in mine. You'll be much better off with a high quality amp, other options are DC audio,Sundown,Crescendo, etc,, stay away from the Hifonics though,I mean they'll work but they put out some dirty signals from what I understand. definitely get a high output alternator (Mechman),upgrade your battery for sure, maybe 2 depending on what and how many amps your planning on using. RF wire is great but you can get a great deals from Skyhighcaraudio, you can pm him on here but he's much easier to reach on facebook, his stuff is also on Ebay but you'll get a good deal being a SMD member. welcome to forum

well the guy already wants 2 t2s from rockford and talking about amp kits extra battery and whats so ever.... whats wrong with going with what i said ??? its not like hes trying to go all out like steave or have 10 18s like price ... if he wants to start out with some bad ass shit then let him ... it was just my suggestion ... if i was willing to spend 4-800 on some subs im not gonna cheap out and buy some cheap shit to power them or have some cheap build with high end subs ... obviously he know some what about what he is talking about to come up with some t2 subs ... most new ppl that comes into car audio just want some bass looking for some big subs and an amp that will make it move.... for myself im not gonna lie that is what i did after i got more deeper into it and done more research i know whats what .............

thanks for the replies. I plan on putting them into a mazda 3 hatch, so that was one concern I have about box size. the only reason I was considering the hifonics amp was because I figured I would upgrade to maybe a couple Rockford fostgates so I could have 1 amp powering each of the subwoofers. but so are you saying if I put 1 t2500bdcp powering both subs il be fine? I know that the handling power on 1 of them is 2400 watts. oh and I don't exactly have a budget as of now, unless it starts getting incredibly expensive. 2500+ maybe. Im going to get both the t2s for around 800 anyways so its not like im trying to pay full price, ive been looking on audiosavings.com

I'd get them from Sonic Electronix, they'll price match audio savings. Those subs are rated 1200 watts RMS not 2400,the 2400 is their max watts and you wouldn't want to give them that much bcus you'd start cooking them. You'll be fine with one T2500.1 bdcp on those, not 2..I'm running that amp on 2 T2D412's
