shogen
Does anyone else that works there have beards? Maybe your dad/boss doesn't want you to have it and others think there is a "favoritism" thing goin on. If its not a company policy then I'd say there shouldn't be a problem but if my boss asked me to shave, I would to show I'm serious about my job. I do get where your coming from though, my stepdad/boss has pulled some stupid shit with me before just cause I was his kid. Lol Actually not one other person there has a beard but its a machine shop and they could if they wanted im sure. I don't go out to other company's that often but even if I did go out more i couldn't imagine my beard stoping business.I wouldn't do ANY business with your dad's company once I saw your beard!!!!! RAWR!!!! Could of had a quality product... I'm kidding.... but like was said before boss tells you/asks you to shave your beard you at least trim it down ........ even if it's family Pioneer Premier P880PRS ll Front Stage: US Acoustics 4060 - Random speakers currently ll Sub Stage: Crescendo BC3500D - 15" Xcon sealed @ 3.28 cubes ll Electrical: - Kinetik HC1800(front) NEW***DieHard P-2(rear) beaker- I know this sounds like a lot of anime bullshit, but it is true. Mittenz
Does it look like this? If it's too loud, you're too old. At least that's what I tell my kids when they tell me to turn it down.

WastedTalent
I always want to see that show but when it's on, I forget haha. But eh, I'm not allowed to have a beard at my place as they say the same thing "unprofessional" and while I don't want a beard, I just don't want to be clean shaven every single day. Shave every other or every 3rd day. So I feel your frustration there, but also, what the boss says goes. They're the ones signing your paycheck. MrEwubbsZ
Well my grandpa is the CEO and we had a conversation about it and he doesn't care. I was just wondering how many other work places won't let you have a beard. 2000 Ranger Build Log
WastedTalent
A lot. I mean if you think about it, a lot. Some places may be more relaxed and let you have a trimmed beard, but nothing near an actual beard. Like think of anywhere you go in public. Do they have beards? I'd say one of the more "professional" places that AT BEST let you have a trimmed beard would be like car dealerships. Even McDonalds I think has to be clean shaven or mustache. I don't think I've ever seen someone with a beard. If you truly want to keep it though and stop your dad from complaining, say "Take it up with your dad, dad" lmfao. That should end that, lol jk. It'll only add fire to it obviously but if you do it in private? Like in his office or whatnot? I'd ASSUME he'd be more relaxed with that and maybe just ask you to trim it a tad bit. Lbox88
As long as it doesn't look like you just got off the island with Tom Hanks from castaway, I don't even see why it would be a problem. UBL | Build Log
