Keveeno Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 Alright so I have decided to buy the new fi sp4 18 dual 2 wired down to 1 ohm. In the future I plan to upgrade to 4 fi sp4 18's dual 2's that will be wired to 1 ohm as well. Now I do plan to upgrade the amp as I go so the amp is just a temporary for the first couple of sp4's that I buy. Yes, when I buy my second sp4, I plan to run the amp at a 2 ohm load till I get the third and forth sub. Now with that in mind which amp should I get?
wccfan12 Posted March 23, 2013 Report Posted March 23, 2013 I have a Dc 3.5k and love it puts out tons of power, but the AQ will prob put out around 4300 watts cause thats what they're rated at. The DC amp will do around 4k at 0.5ohm but the Aq might put out more power. You can also find them used around the same price it's all gonna come down to how much you wanna spend and how much you want one or the other.
