momofx76 Posted March 24, 2013 Report Posted March 24, 2013 So I recently added two Deka group 31's to the rear of my vehicle and before I installed them in the car, I noticed they held voltage at around 13.2 volts. Now after I installed them, together with my Kinetik battery that is in the front, the voltage always stays at 12.5 volts for some reason (car not running). The Deka's are brand new and the Kinetik is about 2 years old. Is the Kinetik causing a problem here?

momofx76 Posted March 24, 2013 Author Report Posted March 24, 2013 Kinetik is a HC3800 and although I was told it was about 2 years old, I think its older than that. It rests at around 12.6. I recently did a full cycle charge on it by itself with a CTEK 7002 charger and it rested at 12.9 for about one day then went back to 12.6... Yeah I am beginning to wonder if it is the Kinetik that is the problem....

Thats why i had so much knowledge on it, lol, I was running 10 31 series batts in my impala, get a bad cell in one of them and it messes everything up, the performance
