Got the new display from Mike on wed.

I'm on holiday, visiting the folks. Laura and mine. So, I'll let you know on Sunday the final thoughts.

Yes I've had some issues. Button failure on the display, and all of the sudden, I'm pulling lights on the dash from everywhere.

I'm hoping I can't get shit to normal. We'll see and you'll hear all about it.

I have no fear of a honest review. But, I also will be fair.

kyle, dude first off, great BL! Ubl's are cool to have but I like regular logs like this one, it gives everyone the chance to see the trials and tribulations that go into doing something like this and how good it makes you feel to accomplish something worthwhile. I love blazers, a two door blazer or tahoe is a vehicle I've always wanted. kinda generalized to make my post not to long. The wheels, subs, amps, enclosure, glass work, etc. looks great in my book! hope everything keeps working out, kinda sucks not having those killer doors yet, but keep your chin up because when you do get them you'll be ecstatic I know. Drink a couple for me, since I'm at work for a month :-/ and don't stress to much, good things come with time ;-)

Kyle, You know I love your build and hope you'll make the vegas show on the 12th. But you might have to get your pimp hand cocked back so you can have your doors done. Sometimes a free hook up or a good deal will cost you 3x the amount of heart ache. Fi SP4 for the win with all those crazy lows who needs doors anyway.

Thanks bud. Id love to get down there for that?!?! We'll see. I just dont feel like doing much with out my panels. I have a TOYS FOR TOTS show, i signed up for tomorrow as a matter of fact, im gonna skip, due to my emberassment of the door panels not be there. But, thanks man.

Thanks again Mike !. Mike did everything he could to get it to me on the quick like i begged. Alas, we ended up not taking the blazer down out of fear it even making it. Then, fucking up the entire family weekend due to the blazer being on the side of the road, in the middle of no where. Sucks... but....

dude, i had the same issue with my buttons but then magically the buttons started worked when car warmed up so not sure what happened. ill be watching my vcm buttons.

and yea i cold start at 15.5. one day i cold started at 16.2 so i just set it to 13.8 start now i cold start 14.7. idk what the best way to do it. i think once it warms up in the summer ill have a better time with the vcm. its good but has flaws. but overall has given me much better performance and i hold 14+ on freeway now!!

Yeah dude,... Ive seen the same. I cold charge over 15, then it drops down to around where ive set it. I still have issues with dash lights, and gauges fucking up. I REALLY think its due to this, i just dont know why?!?! Im looking, and diging deep into this.

Can i ask you where you pulled the "keyed" turn on from to power your vcm display?

i just put it on my relay so when my headunit turns on, the vcm turns on since the only time i want controlled and higher voltage is when stereo is on. when radio is off vcm is off. this is good because all my volt meters are also on the relay so they are only on when radio is on. i wouldnt want vcm on without my volt meters on. that way car is completely normal when radio is off. i was considering putting on a switch as well but my new setting is working well.

when it spiked to 16.2 that day my car completely shut off. it started running wierd and i was trying to turn voltage down, then car jsut shut off. i was so scared that the car computer burnt or something. I am so glad that wasnt the case. lesson learned. I called xs power to see how the vcm exactly works and it makes sense now. so i jsut start it lower now and adjust it if im really trying to beat on it. 14.6 is what they said is a truly safe charging level for our batts. but 14.9 is acceptable if we are bumping. never go above 15 though. but for that cold start it is ok.
