It has a PROTECT when clamping on the wrong polarity. So, im working on the blazer, but, had the charger on the titan (Jamming music, and had the charger on it) I got done, and quickly unplugged the charger off the titan, and quickly (yep, with out looking) just quickly tossed the clamps on the big bank. Ive done it before, and gotten a ERROR and a CODE number. Well this time, it smoked. Im thinking i pulled it off the titan so fast and slapped it on the blazer bank, the protect circut didnt have time to dumb down. anyway... im back in action, on this side of things.. Attaching to a single battery goes protect multiple has too much current so it fried. That freaking sucks brother. Learn to live life, not just be alive! That said, my OEM alt wont charge any more. It must have died. I get no amperage nor voltage. I may go look for a used on at a pick and pull, until my SINGER Hair Pin is in. Also, i got told today, my 3500's never made it to land. So, im get 2 6500's for now. This will allow me to get down to .35 nominal. Or there abouts. These where tested at 7kplus at 12.7. Sooooooo, with ONE on a pair, i should see a gain. Most i ever saw outta my 10k was around 7500-8500k. Rising around a ohm and a half or so..... So, well see what happens. I still want my 4 seperates. But, i think i may make some power. Im suppose to see them later next week. I took friday (next) off, and its on like kong. Wish me luck. Lol I'm gonna look stupid for my above comment if not. Also, if you add another run, you can route that through the front battery posts (at least the positive). Should solve the problem of your front battery voltage dipping. Unless you fixed that problem of course. "Clipping" is the biggest forum boner now. It's like witchcraft... it automatically explains just about everything people don't understand. When i preordered my DC 10k, i waited over a month from "said" date of recieve. SO i feel ya there..... well see. And Tim, this was like MY pre order. I sold, or had something to do with 75% of the sales. It was a learning experiance. For sure. And, not having some big boy pull, like "others", we lost out a bit. Im very lucky, in that, our buyers for the most part are understanding. Some arent. But, 99% are. Anyway..... im ready to make noise again kid.
