Sooooooo....where dey at?? saw that post got excited for some updates decided to do work on my build and check em' out when I was done but still no pics. These better be worth it!! Jk, im sure they are, but seriously we are ready!!

Sorry, this is not the greatest update. But I have been super busy lately, and had very little time to put in on the build. But here is what I got.

Okay, so last time I had an update, I was just getting ready to start glassing the sealed section.

First layer down, cloth



Then I started on the 2nd and 3rd layers, both of which are chop mat.



Also, I left the top board off until last thing. Every seem will be covered. Here is the second layer down (1st layer of mat)





Then after sanding and laying down most of the third layer, it was time to attach the top piece.

Good ol Tightbond II FTW!



Done!







3 layers, strong & sealed!





Now to finish glassing this beast. I flipped it upside-down to make it easier to get to.

Also you may notice I like to cut all the pieces out first, put them in place, then start glassing it in.



But you have to put it down one layer at a time to get it right.

Got to get all the places, even if you cant see them!

And here we are doing the third layer a few days later





Then I started the body work to the baffle.



First I sanded, then laid down some primer, to see where I was.



Then more detail sanding to the flush mount part.



Then some filler for the holes and imperfections



Then after sanding, and more primer, I called it good for the time being. I will finish it when it is all together inside the car.
Then I went ahead and threw a coat of sealer (black paint) inside, more for looks, and to make sure I didn't miss any spots inside while glassing.









So now the sealed section is finished and ready to be installed. It will get stuffed with polyfill, and I still have a tiny bit of body work, but it is ready to move forward!

So that's as far as I have gotten on that. I hope to start putting it all together inside the car this weekend. First I want to run my 1/0 from front to back, and then it's time to get this beast together! I can't wait to hear it, hell the sealed section already has one hell of an echo to it!

Oh yeah, I almost forgot. Got a small equipment update.

Fuck yeah! Now we aint playin'..



And now we see why I really need to sell my subs. There is no way they will take 10K+ for very long at all. Hopefully I can sell them soon, so I can get something that can take the power I am now able to give them.
