1two3 Posted April 16, 2013 Report Share Posted April 16, 2013 i have a honda with a stock alt. when i did my big 3 i just put 0 gauge straight from the alt to the batt. so far no probs but my voltage does suck. and i didnt take off the old wire just added to it. the old wire does go into a fuse box. Seems like that big fuse in the box is on the main charge lead, see what kind it is and if you can get one big enough that your amp won't pop it.
