ewilliams5430
I went with the 300 because it was better in my price range and i got it for 5800 out the door. I wasn't going to go with a brand new 500 or 600 and dump it. Also I got the frame sliders for it but I haven't put them on yet
lifted_silverado
Frame sliders are a good start. Look into good gear as well, full face helmet, leather jacket or mesh is better than nothing, over ankle boots. Youd be surprised how easy a pair of sneakers come off. I had a wreck recently where I was geared up except boots doing about 40mph. Ended up with bad road rash on my feet from my nikes flying off Everythings in the attic or garage since the truck was sold last year. New build should be coming soon in a dodge cummins

Chris Hammer
My gokart has a bigger engine Gixxer600 kart! Nice bike, Better then those honda cbr125s lol vids now Im with n8...call BS unless pics. I have seen a few on youtube..what a waste. And if you are referring to the cbr125 4 stroke..honda also has a 250 4stroke that would be comparable to this. So i don't get your point. OP sweet bike. Good for a first time rider. I was thinking something similar if my girl ever wants to learn how to ride. How does it do on the freeway? MY BUILD *****http://tinyurl.com/gmcbuild***** Vehicles 2005 GMC Canyon CB1000r - Currently where any future funds are going. (exhasut, bazzaz, ohlins shock, screen, etc.) crf250r - Used to be race bike..now I just trail ride..practice at the track on it. Chris Hammer
Wonder how noticeable a 50cc increase is from a 250. I'd consider something like this as a first bike...starting on a 600 seems intimidating. I would go with a detuned 1liter before I ever got a Supersport style 600. IMO great starter bike would be a cb500f..the fairing or naked version based on preference. I like naked. mnrookie
My first bike was a 2003 gsxr 1000. Still have it. If I had to do it all over again I would get a 750.

kirill007
Great bike, especially if you are new to riding a bike. It's a lot more forgiving then the big supersports.
